Consumer Privacy Network — calling for expressions of interest

Posted by Sharyn Rognrust, Category: Advocacy, Consumer Privacy, Privacy,

The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) is establishing a Consumer Privacy Network (CPN) and is calling for organisations that represent consumer interests to join.

The CPN will help the OAIC to further understand and respond to current privacy issues affecting consumers. The group will provide advice to the OAIC throughout the year on key areas of work and meet twice a year through face-to-face forums. We encourage all interested parties to complete an expression of interest (EOI) application before close of business, Monday 4 April 2016.
More information about this new network and the EOI process is available on the OAIC website link
