Posted by Sharyn Rognrust, Category: eHealth & Service Coordination, eReferral,

Plenty Valley Community Health and Northern Health are pleased to launch an electronic referral (eReferral) solution by HealthLink to General Practitioners and Practices in the Hume and Whittlesea Local Government Area. General Practitioners can now send eReferrals to Plenty Valley Community Health and Northern Health at no cost to GPs or Practices when using the following GP Clinical Information Systems:

Medical Director 3.17 and above

Best Practice Lava 1.8.5 and above

The HealthLink Smartforms solution is integrated with these systems to meet the needs of General Practitioners and Practice Managers, including:

  • automatically writing a copy of the sent eReferral back to the patient record in the GP’s Clinical Information System
  • few steps required to generate and send an eReferral to Plenty Valley Community Health and Northern Health services
  • acknowledgement of the sent eReferrals.
